
Ritu Shahi, a member of the State Women’s Commission in Ayodhya, UP, reached Ayodhya on Thursday. He heard the women suffering in the auditorium of the Circuit House. During this, while hearing the women, the member of the Commission said that 38 complaints have come during the hearing. Out of this, 18 complaints have been resolved quickly. The officials concerned have been instructed to resolve the remaining complaints. He said that the most domestic violence cases have been reported. Some cases have been disposed of locally. The cases which have not been disposed of, have been asked to the concerned authorities to dispose of it. There are some women who are also having problems in going to their in -laws, an attempt has also been made to solve it. During the hearing, the case of Assistant Teacher Ashutosh Verma, who went missing from Ayodhya Kotwali Ashapur village on May 5, 2024, was raised by his wife Shikha Verma. Shikha Verma said that her husband Mavai is an assistant teacher of Nawazpur Composite School in the education sector and went missing on May 5, 2024 due to some reason. The police had registered a disappearance. However, did not register an FIR. After the court order, a case was registered but even after nine months, the police have not been able to find her husband. Ritu Shahi, a member of the Women’s Commission, has assured Shikha Verma that the police will soon find her husband and hand them over.
