In Ayodhya, 20 solar e -rickshaws were distributed by the National Rural Livelihood Mission and UPNEDA to further strengthen and earn livelihood of self -help groups. Four of these e -rickshaws were flagged off by Governor Anandiben Patel from Awadh University. During this time, the Governor also visited the university campus by sitting in e -rickshaws. Under women empowerment, women will now be seen running e -rickshaws in the city. UPNEDA Project Officer PN Pandey said that such steps are being taken by the government to empower women of the National Self -Help Group, so that women can be provided with employment to their living. The women of the self -help group who got e -rickshaws praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that all kinds of facilities are being given to women from the government. Today we are very happy to get e -rickshaws.
