The incident took place on Thursday evening at 7 o’clock when Neha, daughter of Kakku Kori, resident of Arsath of Gram Panchayat Baisupali of police station area Haiderganj, came out of the house for defecation. At this time, a wild jackal reached there and attacked her. When she shouted, the nearby villagers reached there and saved the girl’s life. After this, the villagers surrounded and killed the jackal. The injured girl’s family is getting her treated at home by local doctors. Before this, the jackal had attacked and injured the cattle of village resident Ganga Ram.
