Barun (Ayodhya). In Uchhapali village of Inayatnagar police station area, the husband strangled his wife to death on suspicion of illicit relations and threw the body in a well. Police reached the spot on the information of the poultry farm operator and recovered the body from the well late on Wednesday night and sent it for postmortem and arrested the accused husband.

Wasim Khan, the operator of a poultry farm in Inayatnagar police station area, informed the police that Shahid, a resident of Uchhapali, and his wife Nafisa Bano work on his poultry farm. Shahid’s wife was missing for two days, now he has also disappeared. Their children are searching for their parents.
On receiving the information, Inspector-in-charge Abhimanyu Shukla reached Uchhapali village with the police force. After a lot of effort, the police arrested the husband Shahid. During interrogation, Shahid told that he had killed his wife and thrown her in the well, which shocked everyone. On the indication of the accused, the police recovered the body from the well late on Wednesday night.
SHO Abhimanyu Shukla said that the accused has confessed to killing his wife Nafisa Bano on suspicion of her having an affair with another man. On the other hand, on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Ishtihar, a resident of Dadra of Musafirkhana police station of Amethi district, a murder case has been registered against the accused husband and sent to the court. From there, the accused has been sent to jail in judicial custody.

The SHO said that Shahid and Nafisa have three daughters. The eldest daughter Fiza is 12 years old, Shifa is 7 years old and Rifa is 3 years old. After the incident, the three daughters are crying and there is a mourning silence in the village. There is a crisis for the upbringing of small children.

According to the police, the accused told during interrogation that he had killed his wife on the night of 22nd July. After this, he stuffed the body in a sack, loaded it on a moped and threw it in a well located on the south side of the village. At the time of the incident, his children were sleeping, so no one got a clue.
