Inmates of several jails of the state, including Gonda district of UP and Ayodhya division, took a bath on Friday. Water was brought from Mahakumbh for the prisoners where everyone took a bath after worshiping. In this regard, the Prison Minister had ordered the water of Mahakumbh for bathing in prisoners in jail itself.

The water of Mahakumbh was filled in a large haod for a collective bath in the jail. Where the prisoners worshiped first and performed the aarti. After this, took a bath.

Superintendent of Gonda Jail, Apoorva Vrat Pathak said that in order to get the instructions received from the government, the prisoners have been given a collective bath with the water of Mahakumbh in the District Prison Gonda. After bathing with the water of Mahakumbh, the prisoners were also happy. Jailor Shiv Pratap Mishra, Deputy Jailor Suresh Kumar, Shailendra Verma and all the jail officers and employees were present on the occasion.
