The BJP, which is preparing to achieve its target of winning all the 10 seats in the assembly by-elections in UP, may be claiming that the internal strife is over, but the way former MP Lallu Singh in Ayodhya has boycotted the party program by publicly accusing a party leader of being a criminal, it is clear that despite all the efforts of the big leaders, the fire of internal strife within the BJP is still smoldering.
In such a situation, it is believed that if the internal conflict within the party is not resolved in time, then achieving the target of winning the by-elections will become a big challenge for the BJP. At the same time, at the party level, the state leadership of the party is considering the Ayodhya incident as the personal resentment of the former MP.
Sources say that the MP was not angry with the party but with a local leader, so he did not attend the press conference organized by the party. On the other hand, some BJP leaders, on the condition of anonymity, say that winning the Milkipur seat of Ayodhya is a matter of prestige for the BJP.
Anyway, the Chief Minister himself has taken the responsibility of winning this seat. In such a situation, the infighting among the local leaders can create obstacles in the party’s efforts. At the same time, BJP strategists are also worried that if there is a situation of differences among its own leaders, then this will weaken the party.
