Police present outside Sarju hostel in Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University.-Dialogue
Milkipur (Ayodhya). After the death of Yashpal Singh, a student of MSc Agronomy at Acharya Narendra Dev Agriculture and Technology University, the university administration did not allow the family members who came to collect their son’s belongings to enter the campus. Tired of this, the family members took the help of Kumarganj police. In the presence of police, the family members collected the belongings from the student’s room in Sarju hostel.
On May 13, the body of Yashpal Singh, a final year MSc Agronomy student, was found hanging in his room. After performing the last rites of the student’s body, his brother Harivansh along with his aged father and other family members reached gate number two of the Agricultural University on Saturday morning. The security personnel did not allow him and his vehicle to enter. Even after persuasion, he did not get admission so he reached Kumarganj police station. Told his ordeal to police station in-charge Ratan Singh.
The police station incharge sent NDA outpost in-charge Arvind Patel to the spot along with the police force. Then the family members were allowed to enter the university campus. In the presence of the police, the door of the hostel room of the deceased student was opened and the family members were able to find the son’s belongings.
The family members alleged that the university administration had made Yashpal’s suicide note disappear. The security in-charge of the university, hostel warden etc. were present while taking the belongings of the family members.
