Ayodhya. The Maha Aarti of Holy Salila Saryu, a witness to the mythology of Ramnagari, will now be more grand. On the lines of Varanasi, the work of providing grandeur to the Mahaarti of Saryu has been started. Aarti Ghat is being expanded for this. Till now, five altars were formed at Aarti Ghat, now their number is going to increase to nine. The construction of four new altars has started. Four foundations are being made from marble stone. Saryu river ghat and Saryu Aarti site will be the center of attraction. There will be arrangements for the devotees to sit at the Aarti site. Not only this, separate arrangements are being made to tie cows for cow worship with the seating arrangement of pilgrim priests at the ghats. Mahant Shashikant Das, president of Anjaneya Seva Sansthan, said that Aarti Ghat is being expanded. More devotees can witness Aarti. Also, the number of altars is being increased to nine. On the occasion of the major festivals and festivals like Ramnavami, Sawan Mela, Sita Navami, Saryu Jayanti, Deepotsav and Kartik Mela, Nine altars will perform special aarti on behalf of nine altars.
