Lock hanging on the regulated area room in Rudauli tehsil.
Bhelsar. The tehsil administration is not issuing NOC to the people who are dreaming of building houses in the regulated area. Due to which dozens of files are gathering dust in the tehsil. The applicants are making rounds of the tehsil, but the tehsil administration is not approving the files.
In the regulated area Rudauli, construction of complexes, residential and commercial buildings is going on without getting the map approved. Due to this, the Nagar Palika administration is suffering a revenue loss of lakhs of rupees. After applying to the map department in the tehsil, the tehsil administration is given one month’s time to conduct a survey and submit a report. After the survey, a report is attached to the application. This is called NOC. After getting the NOC, the map is passed but the people carrying out construction are not getting approval. People are very upset with this attitude of the tehsil administration.
The applicants are making rounds of the tehsil again and again. After the expansion of Rudauli Nagar Palika, 26 nearby villages were also added to the 25 wards. Now it has become mandatory to get the map passed for the construction of a house or shop. Actually, after paying the permission fee, the building gets registered. Due to which the property tax starts getting collected. This is the reason that in order to save the fee for getting the map passed and the property tax, most of the people are constructing houses without permission. Some people get the map passed but do not get the construction done as per the map. Instead of the approved map, the scope of construction is increased and houses are being built on the road and the empty land around. There are many such complexes in Rudauli town in which no parking space has been left. JE of the regulated area Vipin Chand Verma said that no file is pending from his level.
