
The case of suicide of a student in Haiderganj police station area of Ayodhya district is now gaining momentum. The protest by family members and local people continued in Tikonia Park for the second day on Thursday. The strike has been supported by Samajwadi Party and All India Chanakya Parishad. Senior Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Pawan Pandey, who reached the protest site, said that the same family which lost its daughter is being harassed by the police. The protest will continue until the Haiderganj police station incharge is suspended. On the other hand, a delegation of Chanakya Parishad under the leadership of All India Chanakya Parishad President Kripa Nidhan Tiwari met SSP Rajkaran Nayyar and informed him about the entire matter. The protest continued for the second day today regarding the action against the police station chief. The police refused to say anything in this matter.
