Spice Jet’s air service from Gorakhpur airport will be closed for two months from Thursday. From here, Spice Jet operates two flights to Delhi and one to Mumbai. From February 1 to March 31, all three flights of the company will fly from Ayodhya. Spice Jet has also sent all its staff to Ayodhya.
There were four flights to Delhi and two to Mumbai from Gorakhpur airport. Now the crowd of devotees is increasing at Ayodhya Airport. In such a situation, the demand for air service has increased. In view of this, two Spice Jet flights from Gorakhpur to Delhi and one to Mumbai are being shifted to Ayodhya Airport for two months.
These three flights are expected to take off from Gorakhpur again from April 1. Airport Director AK Dwivedi said that in view of the crowd gathering in Ayodhya, flights from Delhi and Mumbai have been shifted there for two months. It is expected that from April 1 they will again operate from Gorakhpur Airport only.
