In Ayodhya district, District Development Officer Mahendra Dev and Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Indradev Mahar flagged off the sixth phase of FMD vaccination under the National Animal Disease Control Program and flagged off the Mobile Veterinary Unit and multipurpose mobile veterinary vehicles. Under the National Animal Disease Control Program, the sixth phase of Khurpaka Mouthphan vaccination was started all over Ayodhya district from today. The duration of the campaign will be 45 days. In the intensive vaccination campaign of the National Animal Disease Control Program, all the bovine and buffalo animals above four months of age will be vaccinated to prevent the disease of seven months with descendant animals. Teams have been formed for vaccination on each development block. The Chief Veterinary Officer said that all the cattle rearers should get their animals tagged and upload it on the animal department’s website so that they can be protected from diseases caused from time to time with the safety of the animals.
