SIB RAIDS 24 Establishments, Collects Rs 3.57 Crore – Ayodhya News


Ayodhya. The Special Research Branch of State GST (SIB) launched a comprehensive campaign to prevent tax evasion last month. During this period, different teams raided 24 establishments and have deposited Rs 3.57 crore on getting disturbances. With these actions, there is a stir among traders.

There are three divisions in nine districts of Ayodhya Zone of State GST. SIB teams under the leadership of Joint Tax Commissioner work in all divisions. She conducts raids on respective establishments to catch tax evasion cases. In January, the three divisions were given a target of Rs 3.09 crore revenue collection. Among them, the division A and B had to deposit 1.22-1.22 crore and 65 lakhs to Gonda division.

The divisions A, B and Gonda raided seven, 11 and six establishments respectively against the target. During this period, large -scale irregularities were found. Mistakes were found in stock, sales etc. of traders. Therefore, 1.24 crore, 1.08 crore and 1.24 crore were deposited in the three divisions respectively. Among them, the achievement of Gonda division was better. Here almost double the fine was charged against the target.

Additional Commissioner Grade-1 Santosh Kumar said that the campaign to stop tax evasion has been intensified. There is an appeal to the customers to take a firm bill from the shopkeeper while shopping. If there is any problem, complain to the department.
