On the Shivratri of Sawan, Ramnagari was filled with the chants of Bhole’s devotees. The chants started echoing in Ayodhya from 4 am itself. Around one lakh devotees and pilgrims who had reached there took a dip in the Saryu and performed Jalabhishek at Bhole’s famous seat Nageshwar Nath. There was a queue of around 500 meters long at Nageshwar Nath. Here devotees were allowed to enter the temple in groups.
After paying their respects to Bholenath, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at the court of Ramlala and Hanumangarhi. A large number of devotees visited and worshipped here. Kawadias and devotees took the water of Saryu and left for Abhishek at Bhadeshwarnath in Basti.
Tight security arrangements have been made in Ramnagari. The entire fair area is being monitored through drones and CCTV. Entry of four-wheelers has been banned.
