Services of three guest lecturers who had liquor party at avadh university in ayodhya has been terminated – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live


Disciplinary action was taken by the university administration on the three guest spokespersons of the library and information science course of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in Ramnagri Ayodhya. The permission provided for teaching work has been terminated on 17 April.

In the University’s Library and Information Science course, these guest spokespersons were allowed to conduct teaching work till the session of the session 2024-25 on the session 2024-25 or the appointment of contractual teachers as per rules for the respective posts.

Found having a liquor party in the office room

On April 11, at 1.15 pm, Vice Chancellor Prof. at Pacheta Bhawan of the university. Pratibha Goyal and the Governor’s Special Officer Dr. Pankaj L Jani and Ashok Desai had gone to test the preparations for ‘NAC’ to examine communication and availability of basic resources with teachers of departments and courses. At the same time, the guest spokesperson of the syllabus Dr. Shiv Kumar, Dr. Sudhir Singh and Dr. Devesh Prakash were found to have a liquor party in the office room, which tarnished the image of the university.

Investigating officer recommended action

Taking the case seriously, the university administration took the head of the Department of Mathematics, Prof. for detailed and fair investigation. SK Raizada was made the nominated investigating officer. All three guest spokespersons were found guilty during the investigation. Action was recommended by the investigating officer. Earlier, all these spokespersons were asked to submit clarification in three days. The investigating officer granted a recommendation of not conducting teaching work and disciplinary action after testing the explanation of the three guest spokespersons.

Informed through letter

The university administration has abolished the permission provided for the teaching work of the three guest spokespersons with immediate effect on the recommendation of the nominated investigating officer. University in -charge of the university, Dr. Vijayendu Chaturvedi said that disciplinary action has been taken against three guest spokespersons of the library and information science course. They have now been informed through the letter to the coordinator of the course to not be taken to take teaching work.
