The Saryu river in Ayodhya is flowing 30 cm above the danger mark in Ayodhya due to release of water from Nepal and heavy rains in the hilly areas. The water level of Saryu, one centimeter per hour, is increasing. Saryu is in spate due to continuous release of water from barrages. Two priests of Pipri Sangrampur of Sadar tehsil have been cut due to floods. The boat is being resorted to to connect these two priests. SDM Sadar Ram Prakash Tiwari, who reached the spot, has appealed to the people to come to the site of King Dasharatha Samadhi. All the people will be safe and there is complete food and drink, but there are some people who are refusing to come to a safe place right now. In such a situation, a doctor and a vet have been appointed there so that their medical checkup can be done. The flood crisis in coastal villages has increased due to the boom in Saryu. In fact, 18 villages of Rudauli, Sohawal and Sadar are affected by floods, where flood square has been built. All flood posts have been alerted. All the high officials of the district are constantly visiting the possible flood sector.
