Ayodhya. Finally, the wait for torrential rains ended on Friday. The clouds in the sky rained. The road and streets from Ayodhya Cantt to Ayodhya Dham in 40 mm of rain for about an hour became full. Water entered people’s homes in many low -lying areas of the city. Due to waterlogging, devotees along with local residents had a lot of trouble in traffic.
The sky remained clear on Friday morning. There was no idea of clouds anywhere. In such a situation, the strong sunlight and the humid summer prickly kept upset. This was the situation till noon. After this, around 1.30 pm, there was a sudden cloud in the sky. After this, it started raining. There was torrential rain for about an hour. After this, its pace slowed down but the clouds did not stop and the shows continued. Due to this, people who have been facing scorching heat for about a week got a lot of relief.

On the one hand, the change in the weather patterns gave relief and on the other hand the heavy waterlogging in the city created misdeeds. Everyone got upset due to this. In Ayodhya Cantt, rain water entered people’s homes in many low -lying areas including Sahabganj. Apart from this, the route leading to Awadhpuri Colony Phase-3 in front of Beniganj ITI became full. The same situation remained in Laxmanpuri Colony, Amaniganj Jalakal, Ismailganj, Wazirganj, Devkali Tiraha, Beniganj Marg, in front of Reidganj Eye Hospital, Mewatipura, Naka Tomb, Lalbagh, Taksal, Mahajani Tola, Ballahta, Rishi Tola, Kasabbada Marg, Fatehganj and Kandhari Bazaar. There was heavy waterlogging in many routes and streets including Ram Janmabhoomi police station, Sabzi Mandi Marg, Ashrafi Bhawan Marg, Ashrafi Bhawan Marg and Maniramdas Cantonment Marg in Ayodhya Dham. Due to this, the devotees and Kanwari, who came to see Ramlala, faced a lot of problems in traffic. The Shri Ram Hospital campus also became full. This caused patients and timbers to be very upset. Jalwanpura was also flooded. Rampath was flooded at many places. It is a different matter that the drainage gradually took place after the rain stopped.
Under the direction of Mayor Mahant Girish husband Tripathi and Municipal Commissioner Jayendra Kumar, the Municipal Corporation carried out a drainage operation in waterlogging areas after the rain. Through this, drainage was ensured at many places. More than two dozen pumps have been installed at various waterlogging affected places in the city area. In Jalwanpura, four waterlogged areas including four pumps and three pumps at Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat were drained. The Municipal Corporation claims that drainage was done on Rampath, Darshan Path and Bhakti Path within an hour. There is waterlogging in the area around the Saryu guest house.

Apart from this, the concerned ward can contact the supervisor. If a complaint is lodged by the Municipal Corporation, the problem of waterlogging will be resolved.
