Ayodhya. There is an atmosphere of double happiness this Diwali. This is the first Diwali after Shri Ram Lalla was installed in the grand temple. Ramnagari is happy about this and the people of Ayodhya are emotional, why not, after a long struggle of 500 years, Ramlala is sitting in a grand palace, the whole of Ayodhya is filled with joy due to this. There is enthusiasm in the society regarding the festival of lights. Muslim, Jain and Sikh communities are preparing to participate in the festival of lights, while 37 caste temples of Ramnagari will also be illuminated this time.
Diwali is organized to celebrate Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya after the victory of Lanka. Ram’s exile was only for 14 years but Ramlala had to endure five centuries of exile to reside in the grand palace. So now, when the dream which was once unimaginable has come true, the whole of Ayodhya is elated. The people of Ayodhya also do not want to leave any stone unturned in making this festival of lights memorable. Deepotsav will also be seen breaking the walls of caste and religion. On the day of Deepotsav, entire Ayodhya will be filled with rituals and lamps will be lit from every house, from monastery-temple, square-intersection, ghats. These will be lamps of happiness, Ayodhya will be illuminated with the lamps of progress of Ramnagari. Not only is the Hindu community including the saints and sages excited, the Muslim, Sikh and Jain communities are also busy preparing to light the lamps during the festival of lights.
