Expansion
Work is going on on a new plan to control the crowd in Ramlala’s court. Under this, holders of easy and special darshan passes will be given darshan in five queues. As of now, only one queue has been designated for pass holders. Common devotees will have darshan in the remaining two queues.
According to Dr. Anil Mishra, trustee of Ram Mandir Trust, out of the seven rows of steel barricades that have been made for darshan, only two tracks will allow normal darshan. Passes will be issued for different categories of devotees from the remaining five queues, which can also be booked online. With this arrangement, the temple trust will have advance information about the devotees arriving for darshan daily. This will make it easier to arrange for their accessible darshan and will also reduce the pressure of the crowd.
According to Dr. Anil, till now Ramlala was seen in four queues. Seven queues have been formed by steel barricading in the Ram Navami fair. Presently Sugam Pass, Aarti Pass and Wheel Chair Pass holders are having darshan from only one track. Also the number of pass holders will increase five times.
