Expansion

It is going to be almost a month since the consecration of Ram temple on 22nd January, but still the crowd of people visiting Ramlala is not decreasing. Lakhs of people are coming every day to have darshan of Ramlala. In view of this crowd, Yogi government has decided to make the transportation route accessible by building a new road till Ramlala temple. A new corridor will be built for this. The length of this corridor to be built by the name of Sugriv Path will be 290 meters. It will be built as a rectangular circuit for the movement of devotees between Hanumangarhi and the Ram temple complex. With this, the path to reach Ram temple will become more accessible for the devotees.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust estimates that since Pran Pratishtha, about two to two and a half lakh devotees are coming to see Ramlala every day. Due to this, the problem of traffic jam is increasing day by day and people are also facing difficulty in having darshan of God. In view of this, Yogi Adityanath’s government has started working on the construction of a new corridor named Sugriv Path in Ayodhya, so that darshan can be made accessible to the devotees.

Cost of Rs 11.81 crore

According to the information, the Sugriv Path to be built from Hanumangarhi temple to Ramjanmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya will cost approximately Rs 11.81 crore, out of which Rs 5.1 crore will be used for land acquisition. The width of the corridor will be approximately 17 meters. Five meters on either side of the path will be used for the development of walkways. The responsibility of construction of Sugriva Path has been handed over to the Public Works Department. Executive Engineer of Public Works Department SB Singh said that for the construction of Sugriv Path, the process of land acquisition will be completed first. After this the construction work will start.
