The police has become alert about the comments being made on social media about the people of Ayodhya regarding the results of the Faizabad Lok Sabha seat. Instructions have been given to register a case against those who post objectionable posts with the intention of disturbing the atmosphere and send them to jail.
After the defeat of BJP from Ayodhya in the Lok Sabha elections, various objectionable comments are being made on social media about the people of Ayodhya. People are addressing them with various objectionable and insulting words like traitor, fraud, anti-Ram. Voices of protest are also being raised against this. Some people are reacting to this on social media while some people have also lodged complaints.

These activities are increasing day by day, due to which the atmosphere of the district can deteriorate in future. In view of this, the police of the district has also become alert. A close watch has been kept on those who disturb the peace. On the instructions of the Inspector General of Police, many social media accounts have been identified. Their posts and the comments on them are being monitored.
IG Praveen Kumar said that some anarchist people are unsuccessfully trying to spoil the atmosphere by posting objectionable posts. They are being identified and their social media accounts are being searched. If any post is not legal, strict action will be taken by registering a case against the concerned person. In some cases, a case has also been registered after receiving a complaint. People are appealed to cooperate in maintaining peace and order and lodge a complaint if any objectionable post goes viral.
