A crowd of devotees gathered in Ayodhya on the Pratistha Dwadashi festival organized on the occasion of the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s death. An atmosphere similar to the occasion of life consecration that took place a year ago was created in the entire city. Due to weekend on Saturday and Sunday, a large number of Ram devotees from nearby districts along with local devotees reached Ayodhya and the darshan phase started from morning. Despite the severe cold in the month of January, the enthusiasm of Ram devotees is at its peak and lakhs of people have reached Ayodhya. Barefoot devotees are seen moving towards Ram temple on Rampath. There is a queue for darshan in Ram temple. There is an atmosphere of celebration and joy everywhere.
Touching the pinnacle of grandeur, the Pratistha Dwadashi festival started with the Mahabhishekam of Balakram seated in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. The process of consecration of Ramlala started at exactly 10:20 am on Paush Shukla Dwadashi date. Ramlala was consecrated with Panchamrit. After this, Maha Aarti of Ram Lalla was performed at 12.20 on the same Muhurta at which Ram Lalla was consecrated.
On Sunday, despite the severe cold and rain, the enthusiasm of Ram devotees did not diminish and lakhs of people reached Ayodhya and saw the child form of Lord Shri Ram.
Spiritual and cultural events are being organized in the city on the occasion of Pratistha Dwadashi. In such a situation, there is a crowd of Ram devotees coming to see Ramlala. There is a constant crowd in the Ram temple.

Seeing the enthusiasm of Ram devotees, the administration has made complete arrangements. After lining up the devotees, they are being taken for darshan.
On the occasion of Pratistha Dwadashi, Ram temple is spreading supernatural splendor. Ram devotees kept visiting here till late night.
During the Mahabhishek on Pratistha Dwadashi, Ramlala was anointed with milk, then curd, ghee, honey and then sugar amidst the chanting of Veda mantras. After this, Ramlala was made to wear Pitambari clothes studded with gold and silver. Then gold crown, bracelet in hand, Kodanda bow, girdle, necklace studded with diamonds and pearls etc. were worn. After this, 56 types of dishes were offered.
