A fire broke out after a collision between a dumper and a bike on Thursday morning near Rae Bareli Highway in Ayodhya Cantt police station area. A young man riding a bike got burnt to death in the accident.
Police is trying to identify the youth on the basis of the motorcycle. Inspector in-charge Cantt Sanjay Kumar Maurya said that around 3 am on Thursday, the bike collided with a dumper coming from the wrong direction and went under the dumper.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old youth riding a bike got burnt due to the fire and died on the spot. At the same time, the cabin, tires and bike of the dumper were also burnt to ashes.
After reaching the spot, efforts are being made to identify the dead body. The vehicle owner is a resident of Inayat Nagar police station area. The matter is being investigated. The dumper driver has fled from the spot.
