International Yoga Day was celebrated on Saturday in Ramnagari Ayodhya. The main event was organized on the Paidi of Rama on the banks of Saryu, along with this, Yoga Day was also celebrated at Gulabbari, all Tehsil and Block Headquarters, Gram Panchayat Office and other places of the city. Inmates performed yoga in the Mandal prison. Every year a new theme is set for International Yoga Day, which emphasizes a particular aspect of yoga. The theme of International Yoga Day of 2025 was held on “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”. During the yoga, all the people including Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Nodal Officer and Principal Secretary Irrigation Anil Garg, Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, Rudauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav, Bikapur MLA Amit Singh Chauhan, District Panchayat President Roli Singh performed yoga. Commissioner Gaurav Dayal, IG Praveen Kumar, DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde and SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover were present on behalf of the Mandal and the district administration.
