After the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, the security system of the district is being tightened further. The central government is now preparing to set up an NSG commando unit here for which land is being searched. After the decision is approved by the central government, NSG’s Black Cat commandos will be deployed here.
So far, two central security agencies and four state government security agencies are deployed in the district. NSG commandos are called from Delhi for any VVIP visit. After the construction of Ram Mandir, VVIP visits keep happening in the district frequently and there is a huge crowd of devotees all the time.

From time to time, Ayodhya has been the target of terrorists, due to which the security here is being tightened further. For this, there are plans to establish a unit of NSG commandos here in the future.
According to sources, the NSG team has contacted the district administration and asked them to identify and provide land. Work is being done on it at a fast pace. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Praveen Kumar said that there is information about the opening of an NSG unit in Ayodhya, but he does not have complete information.
