Keeping in mind the extra rush of passengers in Ayodhya Dham, the North Eastern Railway Administration has extended the operating period of many trains. 04278/04277 Gomtinagar-Ayodhya Dham-Gomtinagar MEMU intercity special train will be operated till January 31.
04278 Gomtinagar-Ayodhya Dham MEMU Intercity special train will run from Gomtinagar at 05.10 am on January 31 and reach Ayodhya Dham via Barabanki, Rudauli and Ayodhya Cantt. In the return journey, 04277 Ayodhya Dham-Gomtinagar MEMU Intercity special train will leave from Ayodhya Dham at 17.40 hrs on February 1 and will reach Gomtinagar at 20.55 hrs from Ayodhya Cantt, Kudauli and Barabanki.
Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh said that the period of operation of special trains passing through Ayodhya has been extended, while the Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar station located near Ayodhya Dham on Northern Railway of Lucknow Division has been closed for traffic. Due to this, the stoppage of all the trains stopping at Acharya Devnagar station has been abolished.
