The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation launched a special campaign against the big defaulters of tax on Tuesday for the second day. In this episode, the Kshatriya Boarding House located on Fatehganj-Dekali Road was raided by the enforcement team under the leadership of Assistant Municipal Commissioner Guru Prasad Pandey.

24 shops owned by Kshatriya boarding owe Rs 18.24 lakh for houses and water tax. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Guru Prasad Pandey said that after the raid, the owners of all 24 shops are depositing tax. Some are also the owners of the shop who are depositing part payment.

The outstanding amount has been warned to be deposited as soon as possible. Notice has been issued to all the big defaulters of all taxes in the Municipal Corporation area. The Municipal Corporation is taking action to attach the property of those who have not deposited tax.
