While cutting a Neem tree in Ayodhya, UP on Wednesday, the branch broke and fell on an electric pole. Due to this the pole broke. Mother and son have died after being hit by a pole. There was an outcry on the spot due to the incident. Police reached the spot and took information about the incident.

The incident took place in Udharanpur village of Kumarganj police station area. Village resident Ramzan had sold his neem tree to a contractor. On Wednesday, a contractor resident of Rahmaniganj was getting trees cut. As soon as the branch of the tree was cut, it fell on the cable of an electric pole passing nearby.

Another power line pole located a short distance away was buried in front of the door of village resident Raees Ali. Raees Ali (45) and his mother Wahidul Nisha (65) were sitting near it and talking. Eyewitnesses said that the electric pole near Raees Ali’s house broke when a neem branch fell on the cable. The pole fell on the nobleman and his old mother.
Due to this both mother and son were seriously injured. With the help of the villagers, the injured were hurriedly taken to the district hospital for treatment but both of them died on the way. Police of Kumarganj police station reached the spot.

In the presence of Area Officer Shriyash Tripathi and Naib Tehsildar Ram Prakash Mishra, the Panchayatnama was done and the body was sent to the district headquarters for post-mortem. As soon as information about the incident was received, BJP candidate in Milkipur by-election Chandrabhanu Paswan reached the house of the victim’s family and expressed his condolences and assured all possible help.
