Polling parties reached by Tuesday evening to vote at 414 booths in Milkipur assembly constituency. Polling will start at all booths from seven in the morning on Wednesday. With the end of polling at five in the evening, the fate of 10 candidates including the Bharatiya Janata Party and Samajwadi Party will be imprisoned in EVMs. The counting of votes will take place on February 8. Super zonal, zonal and sector magistrates have been deployed by dividing the assembly constituency into four zones.

From 9 am on Tuesday morning to conduct voting in the by -election, the presiding officers, polling officers, first, second and third in polling parties at Government Inter College started reaching. All polling personnel received EVMs, VVPATs and stationery from different counters built here. After this, the departure of polling parties started in the afternoon from the vehicles provided by the Transport Department. Along with polling personnel, the police force was also departed for deployment at booths.
District Election Officer Chandra Vijay Singh and CDO Krishna Kumar Singh and other officials were monitoring this entire process. DM said that all polling parties have been departed. By the way, the voting will start from seven in the morning to five in the evening, but the voters’ line remains long, till 5 pm, the last voter at the booth will be given tokens as per the process of the Election Commission.

Apart from this, 167 vehicles were arranged in the police line for the departure of security forces personnel. Presiding officer Richa Upadhyay said that all polling personnel are ready to conduct fair elections. There has also been a twice training for this. All processes are better explained.
