BJP is desperate to avenge the Lok Sabha election defeat in Faizabad parliamentary seat by winning the by-election of Milkipur. This can be gauged from the fact that BJP has given responsibilities to different ministers in the five divisions formed according to its organizational structure. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party, which is struggling to save the seat, has started booth-wise meetings.

State government ministers are reviewing each booth of the divisions under their charge. His main focus is on the booths which performed poorly in the last elections, where this time he wants to make Lotus bloom at any cost. The BJP organization has appointed Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore, who was in-charge of Kundarki by-election in Amaniganj mandal of Milkipur assembly constituency.

Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav has been given the responsibility in Haringtonganj division. Kuchera Mandal is being looked after by Minister of State for Food and Logistics, Satish Sharma. Minister of State for Medical Mayankeshwar Sharan has been made in-charge of Kumarganj division. Minister of State for AYUSH Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu has taken the responsibility of Milkipur division. All these ministers are holding the reins of the by-elections under the direction of the chief in-charge ministers of the assembly constituency, Surya Pratap Shahi and Swatantradev Singh.

At the same time, Samajwadi Party is also not ready to lose its seat at any cost. This can be understood from the fact that to end the ongoing camp in Milkipur, on Thursday, former Chief Minister and National President Akhilesh Yadav himself had called senior party leaders of Ayodhya district to Lucknow for a meeting. However, the meeting was postponed due to the death of SP President’s uncle Rajpal Singh Yadav.

To strengthen the elections, SP organization has deployed workers as per sector wise social equation. Besides, booth-wise workers have also been deployed to inspect the voter list after its publication. After Bahujan Samaj Party’s announcement of not contesting the by-elections, BJP and SP are eyeing the core voters of BSP in their fold.
