Smoke rising after the fire in Ramsevakpuram and crowd of people gathered at the spot.-Samvad
Ayodhya. A massive fire broke out at Ramsevak Puram, the center of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, on Thursday afternoon. Goods worth lakhs have been burnt to ashes due to the fire. The fire brigade vehicle arrived an hour after the information. VHP has expressed displeasure regarding this.
VHP spokesperson Sharad Sharma said that the incident occurred at around 2 pm. VHP is constructing a Dharamshala in Ramsevak Puram. In which more than 75 laborers are working. A temporary building (PVC block) was built for these laborers in Ramsevak Puram, which caught fire in the afternoon. The workers had also kept small cylinders for cooking food.
Due to the fire, the cylinder also exploded and the fire took a huge form. The entire block was burnt in the accident. In which the workers’ clothes, utensils, grains etc. were burnt to ashes. There has been a loss worth lakhs.
On receiving the information, a small fire brigade vehicle first arrived, which was proving inadequate in extinguishing the fire. After this VHP workers took charge. The fire could be controlled after about an hour of hard work.
When the fire was extinguished, two big fire brigade vehicles arrived. The functioning of the fire department in the highly sensitive Ayodhya city is not proper. He told that two other idols of Ramlala were also kept at a short distance from the place of fire, there was no damage to them.
On receiving information about the fire, the fire brigade team arrived and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is being investigated. The fire is being investigated whether it was caused by short circuit or cylinder explosion.
