Husband Arrested On Dowry Murder Charges – Ayodhya News

Mawai. A case of dowry murder has been registered against the husband on the complaint of the mother of the deceased in the case of death by hanging in village Kandhai ka Purwa Majra Kushhari of the block. On Saturday, the body of Sushma, wife of Amarnath Kanaujia, was found hanging with a sari noose from the beam of the roof in front of the house in village Kandhai ka Purwa Majra Kushhari. Sushma’s maternal home is village Bhendua Brahmanan under Kotwali Ram Sanehi Ghat of Barabanki district. On the complaint of the deceased’s mother Veervati wife Udayraj, the police have registered a case against husband Amarnath Kanaujia under section 80/85 BNS and 3/4 DP Act. Mawai SHO Sandeep Tripathi said that Amarnath, accused of dowry murder, has been arrested and sent to jail.
