Ayodhya. In 170.8 mm torrential rains with strong wind, raw houses and thatch collapsed at many places in rural areas. The walls of pucca houses fell. Electricity collapsed with the traffic disrupted due to falling trees and electric poles on other routes including highways. There was heavy waterlogging in government offices and schools along with various mohallas and colonies from the city to villages. In such a situation, the common life remained disturbed.

Torrential rain started from 1 o’clock on Thursday night. After the whole night, the process continued till Friday evening. In such a situation, there was waterlogging in the roads and streets along with various mohallas and colonies of Ayodhya Dham and Cantt along with Rampath and Dharma Path in urban areas from night to dawn. After the rain slowly slowed the morning, there was a gradual drainage. Due to the change in weather, the maximum temperature recorded a major decline of eight degrees compared to Thursday. It recorded 5.8 degrees lower 27 above normal. The minimum temperature was also 2.2 degrees below normal.
