The joy of Guru Purnima was at its peak in Ramnagari on Sunday. The greatness and importance of the Guru was proved by the huge crowd of disciples who thronged the Gurudhams. From the morning itself, there was a queue of devotees at the Saryu Ghats to take a dip in the Saryu.
After bathing and donating, the disciples went to the monastery and temples and paid their respects to their Guru. The process of Darshan and Puja continued from morning till late evening.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Ramnagari was bustling with devotees. Lakhs of devotees gathered to pay their respects to their Guru and the glory of Guru Parv was also accepted. After bathing, the devotees performed Jalabhishek at Nageshwarnath.
After this, there was a rush to visit and worship in Ramlala, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan and other temples. In view of the huge crowd gathered on Guru Purnima festival, the administration has made tight security arrangements in Ramnagari. The movement of big vehicles has been banned on the main road. Police force has been deployed from Saryu Ghats to monasteries and temples.
On this occasion, Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, said that on the occasion of Guru Purnima, all disciples worship their gurus and take blessings from them. It is the duty of the gurus to impart knowledge to their disciples. This festival has great significance. Celebrate this festival by worshipping the Guru.
