Ayodhya. The mobile party of the State Tax Department launched a campaign to prevent tax evasion in February. The effect was that GST theft was caught in 152 vehicles across the district. The Ayodhya zone of the State Tax Department includes nine districts. In these, five teams of the mobile team work for investigation, which captures tax evasion by checking various types of cargo vehicles from highways or other major routes. In February, all teams were targeted to check 2700 vehicles. In relation to this, 6,193 vehicles were investigated. Of these, 152 vehicle owners were found guilty, from whom Rs 1.16 crore was recovered. Of these, 65 such vehicles were caught, in which sensitive items were loaded, from which Rs 54.57 lakh was recovered.

Additional Commissioner Grade-1 Santosh Kumar said that about 44 lakhs have been recovered from the maximum number of 26 vehicles, 12.87 lakhs from four vehicles, 2.35 lakhs from two vehicles and 9.12 lakhs from 11 vehicles loaded with readymade clothes. There is an appeal to the traders to pay taxes on time by exporting imports of goods from the pucca bill for the progress and progress of the nation.
