Ayodhya. The Municipal Corporation and the police also launched a campaign against encroachment on the footpath on both sides of Rampath in Ayodhya Dham. During this, the members of the enforcement team confiscated the goods being sold on the footpath. Also, a challan of Rs 4500 was issued.
The campaign was started on Tuesday evening under the leadership of Additional Municipal Commissioner Anil Kumar Singh and Vagish Shukla. The goods of shopkeepers found selling on the footpath from in front of Ramjanmabhoomi Path to Tulsi Udyan were confiscated by corporation workers. During this, the Additional Municipal Commissioner told the shopkeepers that the footpath on Rampath is for devotees to walk on foot. Do not encroach on it by setting up shops.
