In Ayodhya, the counting of votes will start at the scheduled time of 8 am in GIC, but its process will start at 5 o’clock. First of all, the third and final randomization of counting personnel will be done in the presence of both the observers of Election Commission of India, P Akash and Sahin Ali Khan. At this time, the personnel will be informed about which will be their counting table. After this, all the personnel and ARO will reach the counting place GIC at six in the morning. CDO Rishiraj said that at this time the strong room will open and the work of delivering EVMs to the tables will start. All the postal ballots that come till just before the counting of votes starts will be counted.

About one and a half hours before the counting of votes starts in GIC, the lock of the strong room will be opened in the presence of the candidates or their agents. During this time, the election officer and the observer of the Election Commission will also be present. The entire process will be videographed. After this, the control unit of the EVM will be brought to the counting table. After placing it on the table, the unique ID and seal of each control unit will be matched. This will be shown to the polling agent of each candidate. After this, after pressing the button in the control unit, the vote of each candidate will start appearing in front of his name in the EVM.

Assembly constituencies allotted to counting personnel
Around 400 counting personnel were allotted to assembly constituencies. These include four assembly constituencies of Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency, Rudauli, Bikapur, Milkipur and Ayodhya, and Gosaiganj assembly constituency of Ambedkar Nagar. The second randomization of counting personnel was done in the video conferencing room of NIC in Vikas Bhawan in the presence of district election officer Nitish Kumar. During this, counting observer P Akash of Ayodhya, Milkipur and Rudauli and counting observer Sahin Ali Khan of assembly constituencies Bikapur and Gosaiganj were present along with Chief Development Officer and In-charge officer counting personnel Rishiraj, Joint Magistrate Swati Sharma, and DIO NIC.
The District Election Officer said that all the counting personnel have been allotted assembly constituencies. The counting tables will be allotted on Tuesday morning. The entry route for all the personnel to the counting venue has also been decided. Similarly, the polling agents of the candidates will be given entry from the main gate. Media personnel will also enter the counting venue from here. All of them will be allowed entry only after showing the pass issued by the district administration.
