Ayodhya. It is difficult for the projects under construction on the banks of the Saryu river to be completed by the scheduled time of Deepotsav. All the work here is going on at a very slow pace. When DM Chandra Vijay Singh inspected the work, he too became angry after seeing the progress of the work so far. He reprimanded the officers of the construction unit and instructed them to increase the speed of work.
On Friday afternoon, the DM first inspected the ongoing work on the ghats from Gonda bridge to Laxman fort on the Saryu river and the construction work of the Darshak Diragali project on Ram Ki Paidi. Expressing anger at the slow progress of all the works, he directed the concerned officers to complete all the works in a quality manner before Deepotsav. He said that a time table for completion of work in all the projects should be prepared and made available.
The DM set a deadline of 15 days to complete the work of carving the painting on Ram’s Paadi. He also directed to speed up the construction of the shed going on at the Aarti Ghat of Saryu. He asked to place the stones being placed on the stairs of the Aarti place in a uniform manner so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience while walking. During this, SDM, ADM City, Assistant Project Manager of UP Projects Corporation, Junior Engineer and the engineer of the firm were present.
