Demanded money for medical examination of rape victim, female constable present in line – Ayodhya News

Rudauli. A case has come to light against a woman constable posted at Baba Bazar police station of Rudauli Circle for demanding money from the father of a rape victim for getting her medical examination done. An audio is going viral in this regard. The accused woman constable has been put on line duty.

The case is related to Baba Bazar police station area. On behalf of the victim, a case was registered at the local police station on 5 September 2024 against Amar Bahadur son Agni resident Makdoompur Kala police station Shukul Bazar district Amethi and Rajkumar village Kasari police station Baba Bazar district Ayodhya for physical exploitation and blackmailing by making obscene pictures and videos viral. After the FIR was registered, an audio started going viral. In this, a woman constable named Shivani posted at Baba Bazar police station is calling the victim’s father and demanding Rs 1000 for fare etc. to take the victim to the district headquarters for medical examination.

When the father said that he did not have money, the woman said that if you do not have money, then why did you file a case, it costs money. You will have to pay the bus fare for going and coming. Come to the police station, I will tell you. Baba Bazar police station in-charge Rajesh Singh said that the accused woman constable Shivani has been put on line duty. The viral audio is being investigated.
