There has been a demand to close the meat and liquor shops running on Rampath. Activists led by Dharma Sena chief Santosh Dubey have submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to City Magistrate Rajesh Mishra. The memorandum demanded that after the construction of Ram temple, Ayodhya has emerged as a religious city globally. Meat and liquor shops are running on Rampath, which should be closed. The license of all meat and liquor shops on Rampath should be revoked.
