Deadly Heat… Eight Died Due to High Fever, Five Referred – Ayodhya News


Deadly heat...eight died due to high fever, five referred

Ayodhya. The scorching heat is now becoming fatal for people. Six patients have died in the district hospital within just 24 hours. Almost all of them were admitted suffering from high fever. At the same time, two workers who were found unconscious due to heat also died. In the same period, 45 more patients have been admitted suffering from high fever and vomiting-diarrhea, out of which five have been referred to a higher center in critical condition. Doctors and health workers are also troubled by the increased number of patients due to the scorching heat.

Razia Khatoon (25), a resident of Niyanwa in Cantt, was admitted with high-grade fever at 12 midnight on Tuesday. The doctors started her treatment, but she died about an hour later in the night. Baburam Tiwari (80), a resident of Chitora Baghaura Pure Kachche in Kumarganj, was admitted on Tuesday morning with symptoms like high fever, who died in the medical ward of the hospital at five in the evening.

Kumari (70), a resident of Palia Shahbadi of Mau Shivala, arrived at 10 pm on Tuesday night suffering from high fever. She also died at 2:45 am on Wednesday morning. Kamala Devi (90), a resident of Bisunpur of Inayatnagar police station area, came under the grip of high fever, so the family took her to CHC Milkipur. From there, the doctors referred her to the district hospital. The family brought her to the district hospital at 1:40 in the night. She died on Wednesday afternoon. Apart from this, a 65-year-old and a 60-year-old unidentified woman also died during treatment. Doctors said that all of them were suffering from heat. At the same time, Vikas Yadav (32) and Anand Bhadauria (35), residents of village Chitrahar of Agra district, used to work as laborers living in Ayodhya. On Wednesday, both were found unconscious near the Jalkal office in Amaniganj. They were taken to the district hospital where doctors declared them dead. Kotwal Ashwini Pandey said that the postmortem of both the bodies has been done. The family members have been informed.

High fever due to heat, then unconsciousness

On the other hand, out of the 100 patients admitted in the district hospital within 24 hours from 12 noon on Tuesday due to the humid heat, 45 patients were suffering from fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Out of these, 30 patients were admitted after suffering from high grade fever. Many patients arrived in an unconscious state, who did not regain consciousness even after 10 to 12 hours. Goli (65), a resident of Deramusi in Sohawal, went to work in the sun on Tuesday afternoon. He came back from there and started cooking something by lighting a stove. In the meantime, he fell unconscious. His son Ram Jiyavan admitted him to the district hospital, but he had not regained consciousness till Wednesday noon. Similarly, Rafi Ullah (60), a resident of Modha Dakshini, died at seven in the evening on Tuesday, and Mohammad, a resident of Dubeypur in Bikapur, died at seven in the evening on Tuesday. Shamim’s eight-month-old son Shoaib Raza at 7 pm, Moolchand Gupta (70), who had come for darshan from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, at 7:20 pm, Durga Prasad (50), resident of Jajwara Haiderganj, at 7:50 pm, 60-year-old unidentified woman at 8 pm, Suryansh (13), son of Nirmal Kumar, resident of Bhitari Inayat Nagar, at 9:40 pm, Gaurapatti Niyawa Rukhsana (60), Sarita Mishra (49), resident of Basant Ali’s Hata Rikabganj, along with other patients were admitted after suffering from high fever and vomiting and diarrhoea.

Brain hemorrhage with fever

District Hospital Medical Officer Dr. Shishir Srivastava said that some patients with high fever are suffering from brain hemorrhage. Tara Devi (58) arrived on Wednesday night suffering from high fever. Brain hemorrhage was detected after CT scan. Similarly, many other patients have also been admitted.

Do not stay in the sun for long, be careful after coming home

District hospital physician Dr. Prashant Dwivedi said that people are falling ill after doing hard work in the heat and staying in the sun for a long time. Many patients with symptoms like heatstroke have been admitted here. Therefore, people are appealed to make adequate arrangements to protect themselves from the sun and heat. Do not go out without any work. Do not stay in the sun for a long time. Do not let the body get dehydrated. In case of any problem, immediately go to the hospital. Related news on page 3
