The date of hearing on the point of punishment has been fixed for October 5. This decision was given by FTC First/Additional Sessions Judge Pradeep Kumar Singh on Friday. According to ADGC Gyanesh Chandra Pandey and Satish Chandra Deoras from the prosecution, the incident took place in the year 2020 in Kotwali Nagar police station area.
Constable Arvind Gautam posted in PRB called the civil line in the name of getting the daughter of a village resident of Kotwali Nagar area of the police station a police job. The judge acquitted Rambachan Kori and Ram Sevak Kori due to lack of evidence. Constable Arvind Gautam was found guilty of the crime of luring and raping by threatening to kill on the basis of evidence present on the file and statements of witnesses. The judge sent the accused Arvind Gautam to jail after convicting him.
