
In Ayodhya, a press conference was held at the Circuit House on the completion of four years of the tenure of the Zilla Panchayat. During this, District Panchayat President Roli Singh counted the development works and achievements. He informed that in these years, keeping in view the overall development of Ayodhya district, meaningful efforts have been made towards environmental protection and public welfare with infrastructure. He informed that four grand nectar lakes have been constructed in Maholi, Sarairasi, Narayanpur and Narauli villages. To covered the circumference of these ponds, fruitful, shady, medicinal and decorative plants have been planted, which will become an example of environmental balance in the coming years. In the last four years, the construction work of 38 km CC road was completed in the last four years towards strengthening of the infrastructure, causing rural areas to be linked to the main roads. Pit -free roads were constructed through the coating work of 103 km of roads, which made traffic smooth. To get rid of the problem of drainage, 45 km drain was constructed. Its estimated cost was Rs 38.65 crore. The nights of the villagers through 6297 solar street lights at a cost of Rs 2.45 crore have now shone. Besides, light arrangements have been given in 300 temples and they have been given a divine form. A solar power panel has been established in the District Panchayat office, which is a symbol of energy conservation and sustainable development. He said that this development journey has been possible with the coordination of public participation, foresight and transparency.
