After facing criticism across the country over the Ayodhya defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken charge of the Milkipur by-election. While setting the election agenda for this seat, he has also played the card of nationalism along with Hindutva. This is the same seat where SP MLA Avdhesh Prasad has now become an MP after defeating the BJP. The CM has also accepted the challenge of Katehari seat of the neighboring district Ambedkar Nagar.

On the initiative of the spiritual seat Asharfi Bhawan, Yogi has presented the gift of a new Ram temple to the voters of this area. Along with this, he has also tried to instill the feeling of patriotism among the people here by calling for public participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. There are also preparations to gift a new university to the youth here with the help of this seat.

Three days ago, the CM had come on a two-day visit to Ayodhya, when Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Sridharacharya, the Peethadheeshwar of Asharfi Bhawan, invited him to Ayodhya Vidyapeeth. The consecration of Ram Darbar was to be done in the newly built Shri Ram temple in the campus of this Vidyapeeth located in Milkipur assembly constituency. Apart from this, the statue of Brahmalin Jagadacharya Swami Madhusudanacharya and Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Madhvacharya was to be unveiled.

The CM immediately agreed to attend this ceremony which was to be held two days after his return from Ayodhya. After this, preparations were made in a hurry. To come here, the CM postponed some of his pre-scheduled programs on Saturday. He also mentioned this in his address. In this way, the idols were consecrated by his hands in the new Ram temple of Milkipur. Now this temple will become the main center of faith for the people here.

Asharfi Bhawan’s Peethadheeshwar Sridharacharya told Amar Ujala that the road to this Vidyapeeth, which was built seven years ago with the inspiration of the CM, was also constructed with his support. A water tank was built for drinking water. The population of 25 villages around it is getting its benefit. Now the CM wants to build a university in Milkipur area. For this, his Peeth is ready to give its 23 acres of land. This will help in changing the fate of the youth of the area.
