The body of Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram temple, was brought to Ayodhya through an ambulance on Wednesday afternoon. His body is kept in the Gopal temple room. Where saints Mahant and devotees are arriving for his last darshan and offering him Shraddha Suman.

Acharya Satyendra Das died on Wednesday morning at SGPGI in Lucknow. He was admitted to SGPGI on 3 February and was in the neurology ward HDU after stroke.

According to PGI Director Dr. RK Dhiman, he was continuously undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. Apart from brain stroke, Satyendra Das also had many other diseases. Despite much effort, his life could not be saved. While being hospitalized, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached a few days ago and asked his well -being.
