Ayodhya. Due to the closure of the exit route, VIP darshan has been banned in Siddhpeeth Hanumangarhi till July 10. VIPs were allowed to have darshan through this route only. The new system will come into effect from Saturday. In view of the problems being faced in widening the exit route, this decision was taken on Friday after a meeting with Hanumangarhi Akhara and the police administration.

After the meeting, Sankat Mochan Sena’s national president Mahant Sanjay Das said that now devotees will return from the same route by which they used to go to Hanumangarhi temple for darshan. The exit route has been completely closed. Apart from this, wheelchair facility has also been banned in Hanumangarhi. This ban will remain in force till July 10. Actually, due to the increasing crowd in Hanumangarhi temple, the widening of the exit route is getting affected. Every day one lakh devotees reach Hanumangarhi for darshan. This number increases further on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sanjay Das told that the engineers say that the work is being done only for four hours. Now the flooring work has to be done, so it is necessary to close the road. During this time, if the Chief Minister, Governor or judges of High Court and Supreme Court come, then the administration will keep providing the same arrangements for darshan as it did earlier. After July 10, the old darshan system will be restored again. He told that during this time private security will also be arranged so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. CO Ashutosh Mishra said that the system will be run smoothly by coordinating with Hanumangarhi Akhara.

Fewer devotees come on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday

Mahant Dr. Mahesh Das has appealed to the devotees to visit the temple in small numbers on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. So that the widening work is not affected. If devotees come on different dates, it will be easy to control the crowd. The facilities that are being developed are only for the devotees. He has appealed to the devotees for cooperation.

The sanctum sanctorum will also be widened

Mahant Sanjay Das said that it has been decided to widen the sanctum sanctorum of Hanumangarhi (where Hanumantlala is seated). After the completion of the work of widening the exit route, the sanctum sanctorum will be widened by about 15 feet more. Narsingh Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat Temple and Kirtan Mandap located in the temple premises will be shifted and installed a little further back. This will facilitate crowd control. A grand entrance gate will also be built at the exit gate. It will be constructed by artisans of Rajasthan using red stones of Rajasthan.
