Ramnagari Ayodhya is going to get the gift of drug ware house soon. It is being constructed in Bikapur at a cost of Rs 9.18 crore. Its operation will be started after March. Its construction will increase the availability of medicines in the area. There will be direct supply of drugs in the nearby CHC and PHC.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a drug ware house is being built to ensure the availability of medicines in every district of the state. This system will end the shortage of medicines up to district level. A drug ware house is being constructed in Bikapur by the Housing Development Council under the National Health Mission Scheme in Ayodhya. It is of two floors. It also includes a warehouse and office along with a cold chain room.
Chief Medical Officer Office will be operated
The construction of the drug warehouse was started in March 2023. The target was to complete it by December 2024. However, the deadline has now been reduced to March 2025. JE SB Singh of the Health Department said that the work is likely to be completed by the end of March. The construction work of the drug warehouse has been completed about 95 percent. It will be operated directly from the Chief Medical Officer’s Office.
There will be direct supply of medicines
Pharmacists and other staff will be deployed here. Not only this, all the life saving and other essential medicines will be available here like district level drug ware house. The special thing is that with the construction of this drug ware house in Bikapur, there will be direct supply of medicines at Hyderganj, Tarun and Bikapur CHC and other primary health centers.
