Ayodhya has come on alert mode after the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed threatened to blow up the Ram temple. Surveillance has been increased in the Ram temple. Special vigilance is being taken regarding the security of important places including the Ram temple. Security of Maharishi Valmiki Airport has also been increased.

SSP Rajkaran Nayyar reached Maharishi Valmiki Airport on Friday and took stock of the security arrangements. While answering media questions, he said that the security of Ayodhya Dham is already tight. The security arrangements here have been divided into various zones and teams have been formed under the leadership of a senior gazetted officer. Security personnel are already deployed in various zones.

Apart from the district police, several companies of PAC have also been received. Security is being provided by deploying PAC. Security of important places is also monitored 24 hours a day. The entire area is monitored through CCTV cameras, whatever real time inputs are generated, the people on the ground are immediately informed about it from the control room. Action is taken accordingly. At the same time, the officers and security personnel deployed in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex have been put on alert mode.
