Expansion
After finding cow fat in the Laddu Prasad of Tirupati, there are continuous discussions about the Prasad offered in the temples. A day ago, the saints of Ayodhya held a meeting and appealed that Prasad purchased from the market should not be offered to God in temples. These days, if we talk about Ram Temple, which is the center of attraction for devotees across the country and the world, then there is no possibility of adulteration in the Prasad here. Because there is already a ban on offering Prasad here.
Prakash Gupta, office in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, says that no prasad is offered to Ram Lalla from outside. Devotees also visit the temple empty handed. Devotees are able to offer only ‘bhava’ as prasad to Ramlala. Cardamom seeds are distributed as Prasad by the Ram Mandir Trust to the devotees. This Prasad is prepared by mixing small cardamom and sugar. Told that cardamom seeds have many health benefits. It contains potassium, magnesium and many other minerals. It works as a panacea for stomach problems.
Use of machine in distributing Prasad
Prakash Gupta told that after the consecration of Ram Lalla, one lakh devotees attend Ram Lalla’s court every day. Keeping this crowd in mind, a machine is used to distribute Prasad to all the devotees. This machine was installed near the under construction PFC on the way back for the visitors to the complex. With the installation of this machine, all the devotees who come for darshan are able to get Prasad in a convenient manner. Prasad is also distributed free of cost to the devotees on the VIP Darshan Marg.
Ramlala enjoys the dishes prepared in the kitchen
Ramlala gets food four times a day. Priest Ashok Upadhyay explains that different dishes are served to Ramlala according to every day and time. These dishes are made in the kitchen of Ram temple. The morning starts with Baal Bhog. Rabdi, peda or any other sweet is served in it. Rajbhog is offered in the afternoon, which includes dal, rice, roti, vegetable, salad and kheer. At the time of evening aarti, different sweets are offered and at night also the complete food is offered. This prasad is distributed to the devotees occasionally. Cardamom seeds are regularly given to the devotees by the Trust. Only peda is brought from outside, which comes from a certain shop for decades. Special care is taken of quality and purity.
