A sub-inspector posted in Ramnagari has died of a heart attack. The incident is said to have taken place at 8 am. The sub-inspector suffered a heart attack while talking to the public at the Nayaghat police post. He was taken to Shri Ram Hospital in a critical condition where doctors declared him dead. Sub-inspector Surendra Nath Trivedi was a resident of Sadarpur village, Bill village police station, Hardoi district. His family members have been informed about the incident via phone.

Sub-inspector Surendra Nath Trivedi, son of late Ramnath Trivedi, was posted at Kotwali Ayodhya. The police department has expressed grief over the incident. Kotwali in-charge Manoj Kumar Sharma said that the victim’s wife Gyanvati Trivedi has been informed about the incident.

Due to Sawan, there is a lot of crowd in the city since July 22. He used to keep a close watch on the activities of Nayaghat Chowki Saryu Ghat and Ram Ki Paidi along with Lata Chowk and Dharmapath. Sub Inspector Surendra Nath took charge in Ayodhya Kotwali on 16 December 2023. He was about 59 years old. He started his service in the police department in 1983.
